Directions:

From I-65 North or South, take exit 102. This is HWY 313 going West. Go 11 miles to first stop light and turn right (North) onto US 31W. Go 9 miles from this stop light, through the town of Radcliff and past the main entrance to Fort Knox, and you will be at another stop light. At this light take a left turn onto US 60 West, go about 2.5 miles. Camp Carlson is at the bottom of the hill on the right side of the road. At the turn in, stay to the right. The office is the first building you will see.

Reservations: Accepted for cabins, picnic areas and Carlson Hall only. RV Sites and Tent camping are "first come".

Note: Pets allowed in campground on leash. One cabin allows pets. Group cabins a minimum of 10 occupants per night. New playgrounds and refurbished sports fields/courts are planned for Fall 2006. Carlson Hall will be replaced with a new lodge (150 person seating) overlooking the lake and is scheduled to be campleted by fall 2007.

Directions:

Off Post/ Outside Gate 10. In southwest part of KY, 4 miles south of intersection of US-41A and I-24. From I-24 north or south, exit onto US-41A (FT Campbell Blvd), turn right onto KY-374 (Purple Heart Pkwy). Take a right turn onto Lafayette Rd. Office is located at the Riding Stables.

Reservations: First come/ first served for campsites. Required for cabins.

Note: NO Tent Camping at this time. Pets allowed on leash. Firearms permitted for hunting. Thirty-day limit with a 72 hour turnaround. Cabins have microwave, small refrigerator, heat and air conditioning. Restrooms and showers are in a separate bath house. Patrons must bring linens and supplies. Facilities include boat launch, boat rental, fishing pier, golf, grills, laundry, picnic area, playground, restrooms/showers, sewage dump, and stables.
